Phase 1A of the works programme will include the demolition of the Town Hall Parade, construction of the Civic Centre / Press building and refurbishment of the Grade II listed Town Hall.
Phase 1B includes the demolition of Hambrook House which is now complete. Construction began in early 2017. This phase also includes the refurbishment of Ivor House.
The demolition and redevelopment of Olive Morris House will be the second and final phase of the project.
